The latest decking in Hemel Hempstead
Trex Transcend Lineage is the very latest decking from the Trex manufacturers. It boasts a 50 year warranty and with the soft arm colours is becoming a popular choice for garden decking projects.
Trex describe the decking by saying “This decking is a light coastal brown, Biscayne captures the beauty of sweeping beaches and sandy coasts, with its light honey hues and natural grain pattern”.
The garden decking design
Designed by Karl Harrison where he considered the brief by including everything the clients had asked for. Having provided a huge selection of decking samples it was clear that the clients fell in love with Biscayne Decking by Trex.
The leading edge of the terrace is cantilevered with the underside painted black to give the feeling of a floating platform.
A simple raised separation to create a planter behind the decking solved the solution of elevation. A wrap around planting scheme with irrigation also softened the space. The solution for the fence was to apply a simple colour scheme in a colour to brighten the space.
The decking structure is built to BS 5268-7.1 and has recycled plastic posts, structural fixings by Carpenters mate with the C24 joists taped with decking tape by Walther Strong.
