Millboard decking circle in Tring

A millboard decking circle sat amongst tropical planting in a garden in Tring is made for the perfect breakfast terrace. As part of a large landscaping scheme the decking is joined to the rest of the garden by custom cut steppingstones.

No easy to make as every is curved. Clever use of templates and specialist cutting tools for a perfect shape. Made easier due to the flexible bullnose edging and fascia by millboard. These wrap around the circumference and form the perfect finish of this stand out platform.

To work in harmony with the paving and pink retaining walls the colour “Smoked Oak” in the Enhanced range of composite decking by Millboard we the perfect choice.

The construction

Plaspro posts are made from recycled waste plastic and as they don’t rot, they make for the perfect choice for decking support posts. The frame is UC4 treated C24 Structural graded joists which have been correctly spanned in accordance with BS5268-7.1

The fixings are Carpenters Mate CMFH 150mm exterior grade structural fixings.
